Q: I have the Aprilaire 2400 Media filtration. There have been several modifications to the filters. I am looking to purchase the newest of the filters where I only have to slide in the new filter, not have to go thru the "combs" (if you know what I mean).

A: The replacement filter purchased from filter buy is a great fit. No more "combs" needed, which is good. My "combs" were breaking-- loosing "teeth". The replacement filter is quick to change and available in several grades.

A: You have to remove cones and filter, open both ends of plastic case, and new filter slides right in.
